Bit by Bit

Enzo has worn a bit a couple of times, been lunged with a surcingle once or twice, and had a saddle placed on his back exactly once. This past weekend, for the first time, he was completely tacked up with saddle and bridle, and right to work he went! He didn’t mind in the least. In fact, by the time we switched directions he looked quite bored with his new task. He was clearly ready for this next step! Once more like this to build his confidence, and then we’ll bring the stirrups down too and let him feel those on his sides.
