We sent Addie off to be started under saddle at the end of March, and then promptly got busy preparing for the wedding and hadn’t been up to see her since. With a long weekend for the holiday, we FINALLY had a chance to go check out her progress for ourselves, and we were so thrilled. When we arrived, she was muddy and hanging out with friends in a large herd and generally loving life, but still came right over to the fence to say hello. With a quick brushing the trainer hopped right on, and Addie pleasantly went right to work, negotiating traffic and arena obstacles like a seasoned pro. She’ll stay a little while longer to keep up with pony-kindergarten, but we can’t wait to take her for a spin ourselves! (and maybe wash that tail….)
